Highlights: Copper recoveries of 88.3%. Copper concentrate grade of 39.0%. Very low arsenic levels in concentrate are expected to attract a premium from concentrate traders. A contract for construction of the box cut was awarded to Lubumbashi-based Mining Company Katanga Sprl (MCK), which has extensive local experience in contract antique doorbell mining and earthworks and has worked on other significant Katanga copper mining projects, including Kinsevere, Kipoi and Kolwezi.
